The Headteacher and Governing Body are looking to appoint a well qualified, highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative classroom practitioner to join our specialist team, who will be committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils with special educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

We are looking to appoint a PPA Teacher for our KS3 & KS4 provision based at our Vyner Campus who has experience of planning and assessment in the classroom.

To be considered for the PPA Teacher position, you will:

Hold a minimum of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Understand the SEND Code of Practice
Be able to successfully lead a classroom for children with a diverse range of needs, planning and delivering lessons in line with the school's curriculum intent, whilst keeping children safe and regulated.
Be able to teach in at least one of the admission phases of the school 'That is KS2, KS3 and KS4' it would be an advantage if you are able to work across all phases.
Be able to each in more than one subject.
Be committed to inclusive practice and trauma informed practice.
Be open minded to new ways of working.
Be able to manage and modify challenging behaviour in a firm but supportive manner.
Be child centered, flexible and resilient.
Have a genuine desire to work as part of a motivated team
Be committed to providing outstanding provision for the pupils within your care.

This job comes at the most critical junction in the school's development, we are currently spearheading the development and opening of the third campus whilst we are still building the second.

You will play a key part in this journey by supporting a team of Assistant Headteachers, Heads of School, Executive Headteacher and Governors in the delivery of the schools primary aims and objectives.

Your style will be transformational, but gentle, professional and proper. Your integrity, professional curiosity and the ability to self reflect must be on point.

Your knowledge, skills and experience are important, but so will be your emotional intelligence and resilience.
