Lunchtime Playworker

5 Working Hours – 38 Weeks per Year
Fixed Term to 31/08/2025

Due to expanding our playworker team, we have an exciting opportunity for a person who enjoys working with children to join our friendly and welcoming school from 3rd September 2024.
There are playworker positions available for our Key Stage 2. We have a different approach to lunchtimes (OPAL) and this involves children being supported by playworkers to get involved in various activities e.g. den building, climbing, lego, sensory, physical activities, board games we are open to ideas from the children and you!

We are looking for the following personal qualities:
A warm personality and lots of energy!
Are able to stay calm under pressure
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with children and adults
Are able to gain the confidence of and build relationships with children
And have a commitment to make a difference to families and children in the Grove Street Primary School community
