Job Title: Exams Administration Support

Salary Grade: Band E, scale point 8-11 £13.16-£13.84 per hour

Contract: This is a casual appointment, as needed until 31/08/2025

The governors of St John Plessington Catholic College would like to invite applications from excellent, enthusiastic and engaging individuals for the post of Exam Administration Support. The successful candidate will provide administrative support for both public and internal examinations, in a smooth and effective manner, which will help them to sustain and improve the educational outcomes of the Trust.

 

This is a unique opportunity to work for the Holy Family Multi Academy Trust. This post will be based at St John Plessington Catholic College. St John Plessington Catholic College Voluntary Academy has been an oversubscribed 11-18 college for more than 10 years. We are also a designated Teaching School Hub, one of only 87 nationally.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide high quality exams service to the Trust, working with colleagues across the Trust to ensure a streamlined and seamless approach
  • To provide administrative support with the Exams Service
  • To support with the Exams Service in acting as first point of contact for exam enquiries
  • To support with the examination entries process for external exams to the examination boards for public exams, GCSE, AS BTEC and A Level
  • To support with internal exams for all year groups To liaise with staff, parents, pupils and to handle complaints and queries about public examinations
  • To sort examination papers as they arrive
  • To support in the daily running of public and internal examinations including practical examinations and to inform arrangements that need to be made for furniture in examination rooms
