St John Plessington Catholic College is a Voluntary Aided Catholic 11-18 Academy. We are part of the Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust. We serve the population of the Wirral and are oversubscribed in all year groups.

 

We are looking for a Head of Faculty who:

  • Can be accountable for student progress and development within the subject area
  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner
  • Can effectively manage and deploy teaching/support staff, financial and physical resources within the department to support the designated subject portfolio
  • Can lead a department and develop and enhance the teaching practice of others
  • Work well with staff and students alike
  • Are looking to join a community of schools that promotes the formation of young people into successful citizens
  • Are interested in developing their practice and committed to their own professional development
