The Board of Governors at Dawpool Church of England Primary School are seeking to recruit a permanent cleaner to start as soon as possible. Dawpool Primary School serves the local community of Thurstaston and Irby and is situated in a unique and beautiful rural setting, nestled into Thurstaston Hill on the edge of Royden Park.

We are a very happy, successful and popular school who is looking to appoint a cleaner who will undertake general cleaning of our school premises and to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout.

The post is for 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, Monday-Friday) on a split shift with working hours between 6:30-8:30am and 3:45-5:45pm. 

In line with our commitment to safeguarding our children, stringent vetting and enhanced checks on candidates’ suitability for this post will be carried out as part of our selection procedure. Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of two satisfactory references and an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
