Brackenwood Junior School is part of Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust, which comprises 13 schools across the Wirral Peninsula. We are a happy, successful, two-form entry junior school with enthusiastic, motivated and friendly staff and pupils.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality education for all children, committed to achieving excellence and keen to contribute to the continued development of our school.
The successful candidate will:
Provide support to pupils across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6).
Have the flexibility and confidence to provide class cover when required.
Support pupils in a range of learning environments, including accompanying them to external competitions, which may occasionally take place after school.
Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
Demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be desirable.

Working Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:30am - 3:45pm
Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:45pm (including staff meeting time)

The role also includes a half-hour lunch duty.
Interviews and Lesson Observations
Interviews and lesson observations will take place during the week commencing 4 November 2026, including Friday 6 November 2026.
