Therapeutic Teaching Assistant Level 2 / 3 (depending on experience)
Fixed term with strong possibility of permanent
As our school continues to grow, we are looking to appoint a compassionate, nurturing and highly relational Therapeutic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated therapeutic team. This unique role involves supporting children across EYFS and Key Stage 1, helping them to feel safe, regulated and ready to learn through therapeutic and child-centred approaches.
The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion and emotional wellbeing, with a genuine commitment to understanding children’s needs and building trusting relationships. This role would suit someone with experience in a pastoral, therapeutic or emotional wellbeing role, such as ELSA, nurture provision or similar support work.
At Grove Street, we are proud to be a highly inclusive and therapeutic school with a strong relational approach. You will work as part of an experienced and supportive team led by our Therapeutic Team Lead, alongside skilled teachers, leaders and therapeutic practitioners, with excellent opportunities for professional development and growth.
At Grove Street, mental health and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do, not only for our children and families, but for our staff too.
