Following the retirement of the current Headteacher the Governors of St. Andrew's Church of England (Aided) Primary School are looking to appoint a new Headteacher to lead our school. We would welcome applications from an inspirational leader who has the drive, vision, enthusiasm and ambition to continue the development of the school.

St Andrews CE (Aided) Primary School is a popular school situated in Bebington, at the heart of the Wirral. The school is aspirational, caring and friendly with a strong Christian ethos.

Our Headteacher will be responsible for the care of our children, fostering an environment where they can learn and grow. They will enthuse, motivate and build up our staff team supporting the delivery of excellent teaching and learning. They will need to be a practising Christian and actively support the Christian ethos of the school.

We are looking for someone who:
has at least 3 years experience as a deputy headteacher, assistant headteacher or is currently a headteacher
is a charismatic leader, comfortable and able to inspire staff
is an effective and sensitive communicator, who builds constructive relationships with parents and carers even in challenging contexts
is able to work creatively, innovatively and develop pupils' self-belief in line with our school vision
is able to communicate and work effectively with a range of stakeholders including the schools governing body
is dedicated to raising standards and removing barriers to learning for pupils ensuring all children receive a high quality education irrespective of their background
has high expectations of themselves, our staff and pupils with a positive, can do and proactive nature
leads with an authentic Christian faith that models our school vision and values
