As part of the school strategic action plan to harmonise practice over the two campuses at The Observatory School, we are looking to appoint an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher across the curriculum who will take a lead on the KS2 Phase, supporting the Head of School and Senior Teacher in their roles.

The key areas of responsibility will include transition, quality first teaching, mentoring and coaching of colleagues and other areas depending on your previous knowledge skills and experience.

This job comes at the most critical junction in the school's development, where we are spearheading the development and opening of the third campus whilst we are still building the second.

You will play a key part in this journey by supporting a team of Senior Teachers, Assistant Headteachers, Heads of School, Executive Headteacher and Governors in the delivery of the school’s primary aims and objectives.

You will assist with keeping communication open and ensure barriers are overcome, challenges are met and outcomes improved for all stakeholders.

Your leadership style will be transformational, but gentle, professional and proper. Your integrity, professional curiosity and the ability to self-reflect must be on point. You will be ambitious and we will support your aspirations with an appropriate CPD package.

Your knowledge, skills and experience are important, but so will be your emotional intelligence and resilience.
