As The Observatory School grows we are adding to a team which has high expectations and sets high standards for both pupils and colleagues. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist based at the schools Leasowe Campus, you must be a professional and customer focussed person who will complement and support the school staff team. 

This job comes at the most critical junction in the school's development, we are currently spearheading the development and opening of the third campus whilst we are still building the second. 

As the first point of contact for parents and visitors both by phone and face to face this is an extremely important role. 

The Reception team deal with varied enquiries which includes receiving visitors to the School, answering incoming calls, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, management of the reception area to always ensure a professional appearance and any other adhoc administrative activities as and when required. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role within a client facing and/or customer service environment; have excellent communication skills, both in person and over the telephone; be well presented and act as an ambassador for the School.

Your knowledge, skills and experience are important, but so will be your emotional intelligence and resilience.

Closing date for the vacancy is 23rd February 2024 with commencement date of 15th April 2024, although this is negotiable.
