An enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational teacher of mathematics is required to join a thriving and successful curriculum area. 

This role represents an incredibly exciting opportunity for any candidate who is eager to be a part of an organisation that seeks to secure the very highest educational standards for pupils, who has high standards, commitment, passion, and the ability to teach across the full range of age and ability, up to and including A-Level. Maths teachers at SJP have been developing a mastery approach to the teaching and learning of mathematics and we encourage a high level of problem solving to promote independent enquirers. The department is dynamic, supportive and successful with a history of strong results at KS4 and KS5.

St John Plessington Catholic College Voluntary Academy has been an outstanding and oversubscribed 11-18 college for more than 10 years. The College has been a national support school since 2009 and has provided extensive school to school support since then. SJP is the lead school in the Inspire Learning Teaching School Hub.
