Part Time 30.86 hours per week – 39 weeks per year

The Governing Body of this special needs secondary school wish to appoint three Teaching Assistants (Level 1) on fixed term contracts from 1/9/21 until 31/8/22.

This is a school for approximately 95 pupils with severe and complex needs, ranging from 11-19 years of age.

We require three energetic Teaching Assistants preferably with relevant experience of working with pupils with special needs to join our very friendly team. Applicants should have a secure knowledge of child development and be highly committed to supporting teaching and learning both on and off site.

The posts are for 30.86 hours a week (8.55am to 3.25pm with an additional hour/week), for 39 weeks a year, (term time plus an extra week for in service training).

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

These posts require an enhanced DBS check.

Full induction will be given with opportunities for further training.
